Aurora Australis & Night-Sky Festival
August 07 to September 03, 2015 / Hobart, Tasmania
In recent years Tasmania has become the mecca for aurora viewing and night sky photography in the Southern Hemisphere. Our festival is to promote Tasmania as a destination for the night sky as well as educate people about all things aurora & night sky. We also want to celebrate the huge community Aurora Australis Tasmania on Facebook (23000members at the time of writing).
The inaugural festival in 2013 was a great success and this year we are preparing another great celebration.
The festival is based around a 4 week photographic exhibition at Wild Island in Hobart.
